Hurry, hurry, hurry

Sometimes we’re so busy with our daily lives that we forget about our animals needs too. They’re always there and we take them for granted sometimes. How often do we really listen to what they want or do we just assume that we know what they want? Do we let them lead the activity or let them decide when to go for a walk or do we always feel that we need to be in control? I know that many animals love routine but what if we decide to occasionally be spontaneous? What if the next time you take your dog or other animal for a walk that you let them decide which route to take or let them decide what game to play? It would be interesting to see your animal’s reaction to this. I’d love to hear what happens when you try this or any other spontaneous activity. Please let me know what you tried and what happened.
